Michigan Centennial Retailer Nomination Form

Michigan Centennial Retailer

The Michigan Retailers Association is seeking Michigan Centennial Retailers—retailers with 100 or more years in business in Michigan.

The program recognizes century-old retail businesses for their contributions to the state’s past, present and future. Since 2000, the first year of the program, 58 businesses have been honored.

Michigan Centennial Retailers will be recognized at the Michigan Retailer of the Year Awards Luncheon on October 11 in Lansing.

Retail businesses that began in 1905 or before are eligible as 2005 Michigan Centennial Retailers. Use the form on the reverse side to notify MRA of an eligible business. Retailers whose names are submitted will be contacted and asked to provide a brief history and other information about their business.

For more information, contact MRA’s Retha Lachance at 800.366.3699 or rlachance@retailers.com.

Deadline is August 12, 2005.
