Retailers Mutual provides cost-saving workers’ compensation insurance
to a wide array of businesses, non-retail and retail. It is "the
new company with a 25-year track record" because it was formed
on January 1, 2006, by conversion of Retailers Fund, MRA’s 25-year-old
group self-insurance fund.

Fund. Retailers Mutual builds on that winning record in providing coverage
to a wide array of businesses across Michigan.
Health insurance
MRA offers a full range of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan health
insurance options including employer-sponsored group health plans and
individual health plans. Choose from a variety of health plans and prescription
copays, including Blue Cross traditional coverage and Community Blue
PPO plans.
With the full Blue Cross menu available to members, MRA can tailor a health insurance plan to meet your needs and budget. We’ll help you reduce your premium by eliminating the coverages you don’t need.

Dental insurance
MRA's self-insured dental plan is administered by Delta Dental Plan
of Michigan and is open to groups as small as two subscribers. Two coverage
options are available. Plan A has no deductibles and provides 100-percent
coverage of diagnostic and preventive services, such as oral examinations
and x-rays. Plan B, a less expensive option, has a small yearly deductible
and provides 80-percent coverage of preventive services.

DeltaVision
MRA’s vision plans allow members to access flexible, high-quality
vision benefits. These plans, underwritten by DeltaVision (a division
of Delta Dental Plan of Michigan) include specially negotiated pricing
on eye exams, eyewear, contact lenses, and laser vision correction.
These plans are available to groups as small as two people. More information

Life and disability insurance
MRA members can purchase life insurance policies at group rates through
Unimerica. Participants can purchase basic, supplemental or dependent
coverage with guaranteed issue amounts based on participant size.
Short-term disability insurance (26-week benefit period) with varying benefit levels is also available through Unimerica to MRA members.
