Credit Card Processing Get A Quote
As one of the largest and most established credit card processors in Michigan, MRA handles credit card processing for thousands of Michigan businesses. MRA members receive some of the lowest processing rates in Michigan and enjoy MRA’s personal, professional customer service.
MRA services all major cards -- Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express -- and offers a variety of deposit options. Special rates are available for retailers with a high average ticket. There are no extra fees for setup, supplies, charge-backs, terminal reprogramming and address verification.
Point-of-sale debit card processing is also available, offering smaller transaction fees, increased customer convenience and reduced risk of fraud. When you’re ready for Internet sales, MRA can enable your web store to accept secure online credit card orders.
No matter what size or type of business you have, MRA has a credit card solution for you. MRA also provides automatic insurance coverage against the devastating costs of a data breach involving customers’ credit cards.

Data Security Mandate
The payment card industry compliance and validation regulations apply to financial institutions, processors and businesses that accept credit cards. The rules spell out what security measures must be taken to protect the private information of cardholders during any transaction occurring with the use of a credit or debit card. Certain auditing procedures are also required.
Michigan Retailers Association has the easy-to-use tools to help our customers comply with all data security regulations. This documentation process is critically important to avoid the fines and fees necessary in the case of a forensic audit. Our goal as experts is to stand beside our customers to help them understand and comply with all necessary PCI regulations.
How to Begin the Compliance Process
1. Go to http://www.compliance101.com and click on the "Get Started" button.
2. You will see a login screen. Your username is your merchant number, located in the top right-hand corner of your monthly statement. Your password for this initial visit is compliance101; you will be prompted to change the password upon your first login.
3. After you login, follow the instructions to fill in the Self-Assessment Questionnaire. Based on equipment and type of business, some merchants may be required to pass a quarterly network security scan of their systems. This will be determined during the self-assessment process.
