BASIC joins online Mall of Michigan

BASIC (Benefit Administrative Services International Corp.), a nationwide human-resources service company based in Portage, has opened shop in the Mall of Michigan, an Internet retailing and shopping service operated by the Michigan Retailers Association (MRA).

Shoppers can access BASIC online through the Mall of Michigan at http://www.mallofmichigan.com. The store is listed in the Services section.

BASIC provides easy-to-administer systems and third-party administration for employee benefits programs such as COBRA and Section 125 (flexible benefit) plans. The company's website offers informative guides and software for program administration.

Shoppers can make secure online credit card purchases through this Mall of Michigan store.

The Mall of Michigan's collection of unique specialty shops -- all of them MRA members -- opened in late 1997. More than 100 Michigan businesses now participate in e-commerce through this website.
