'The Disney Keys to Excellence'
comes to Novi
NOVI -- Business professionals in southeast Michigan
can discover the Disney approach to leadership and management through
a half-day program presented by Disney Institute and sponsored by the
Michigan Retailers Association (MRA).
"The
Disney Keys to Excellence" will be held Tuesday, May 29, from 8:00
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Novi Hilton, 21111 Haggerty Road in Novi.
"This is an excellent opportunity for professionals in
Michigan to learn from one of the world's most admired and successful
companies," said MRA CEO Larry Meyer.
The seminar offers an exclusive look at the business side
of the Walt Disney World Resort, presented by members of the Disney management
team.
"Leadership, Disney Style" explores how effective leaders
can communicate a compelling vision for the future, mobilize teams and
foster leaders who make an impact. "Management, Disney Style" examines
the elements of employee selection, training, communication and care that
make up Disney's corporate culture.
Attendees learn how they can adapt Disney's unique style
of leadership and management to their own businesses.
Cost for the program is $150 for MRA members and $175
for non-members. The fee includes the seminar, program materials and continental
