Retailers Association names Sarasin
senior vice president
LANSING -- The Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) announced the promotion of Jean Sarasin from vice president of finance to senior vice president.
Sarasin, an Okemos resident, joined MRA in 1981 as an employee in the credit card and accounting departments. She was named vice president of finance in 1990.
In her new position she will continue her finance responsibilities and directly oversee MRA's customer service area.
The Michigan Retailers Association is the unified voice of retailing in Michigan and the nation's largest state trade association of general merchandise retailers. MRA's more than 5,500 retail business members operate more than 12,000 stores across the state.
