ROYAL OAK -- The Michigan Retailers Association (MRA)
is sponsoring an upcoming professional education seminar for retailers
and other business owners in Royal Oak. The program is co-sponsored by
the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce, Oakland County Planning and Economic
Development Office and Woodward Avenue Action Association.

Presenters: MRA's John Mayleben and Oakland County Sheriff Michael
Bouchard
Description: Mayleben will show retailers how to spot fraudulent
credit cards and transactions and how to handle suspected fraudulent activity
while processing transactions in the store and on the Internet. Bouchard
will discuss the most up-to-date techniques for addressing shoplifting
and other security issues.
