LANSING — Three staff members of the Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) have been promoted to new positions.

Judy Schafer, of Fowler, was promoted to manager of fund operations for Retailers Fund, the Association's workers' compensation program. She has been with MRA for 19 years and was previously Retailers Fund administrative assistant.

Nicole Antenore, of Charlotte, was promoted to administrative assistant to John Mayleben, MRA's vice president of sales and marketing. She joined MRA in 2000 as marketing department administrative assistant.

Darcy Clark, of Lansing, was promoted to administrative assistant in the marketing department. She joined MRA last fall as receptionist.

The Michigan Retailers Association is the unified voice of retailing in Michigan and the nation's largest state trade association of general merchandise retailers. MRA's more than 5,500 retail business members operate more than 12,000 stores across the state.
