LANSING — Brendan M. Dwyer has joined the Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) as staff writer.

He is responsible for MRA print- and web-based articles, as well as marketing, public relations and promotional pieces.

Dwyer came to MRA from the Legal Editing and Law Publications Division of the Michigan Legislative Services Bureau, where he was an editor and proofreader. From 1999 to 2001 he was the writer and public relations coordinator for Strategic Interactive Inc. in Lansing.

Dwyer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University.

A native of Lansing, he currently lives in East Lansing with his son, Greyson J. Dwyer.
