Sign up for dental plan Open enrollment for MRA's dental insurance program will
be held through February 15. It's one of only two times during the year
- January-February and June-July - when MRA member businesses can join
the program or make changes in coverage. MRA's self-funded dental insurance plan, administered
by Delta Dental Plan of Michigan, is open to businesses with two or more
employees. "Dental insurance is an important benefit to help
attract quality employees," said MRA's John Mayleben, vice president
of sales and marketing. "MRA's program allows small businesses access
to group rates. Rates have remained low, with minimal cost increases." Two dental coverage options are available through MRA.
One plan requires no deductible and provides 100-percent coverage of preventive
treatment. The other, which has lower premiums, includes a small yearly
deductible and 80-percent coverage of preventive care costs. Current participants in the dental plan can switch between
the two coverage options or add employees or dependents during the open
enrollment period. Changes made during open enrollment will be retroactive
