Directors re-elect officers for 2003-04 Mark Schrag, owner of Seasons in Okemos, was re-elected as chair of the MRA Board of Directors Executive Committee at the August 18 board meeting. This is his second year as chair. Larry Mullins, of Brandon Tire & Battery in Ortonville, was re-elected chair-elect of the Executive Committee. D. Larry Sherman, retired owner of the former Sherman Shoes in Birmingham, was re-elected treasurer. Larry Meyer remains as MRA chairman and CEO, and James P. Hallan continues as president and chief operating officer. The Retailers Fund Board of Trustees re-elected Dan Marshall, of Marshall Music in Lansing, to a second year as chair. Trustees also re-elected Ray Rau, of Oscar Rau’s Fine Furniture and Interiors in Frankenmuth and Owosso, as vice chair. Other continuing Retailers Fund officers from MRA are Chairman and CEO Meyer, Chief Operating Officer and Fund Administrator Hallan and Jean Sarasin, secretary and treasurer. |
