Retail seminars move to March

The 4th Annual Retail Education Conference will be held two months earlier this year—March 27—and will move to the Amway Grand Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids.

Both changes are designed to reach out to retailers who may find the early spring date and western location easier for them.

This year’s conference will offer several dynamic new speakers addressing the real problems and concerns facing Michigan retailers.

Dr. Phil Johnson, a nationally renowned speaker who bills himself as “The Firestarter,” will begin the event with a session designed to “rekindle your passion for life, love, and work.” Other seminar topics include customer retention, disaster recovery, website design strategies, running a family business and obtaining co-op advertising dollars.
