WMU seeks mature enrepreneursA Western Michigan University professor is looking for MRA members who can help her find out what makes older entrepreneurs tick. Dr. Barbara Frazier, associate professor of Family & Consumer Sciences at WMU, is seeking people who have started businesses for the first time later in life who are willing to discuss their entrepreneurial experiences as part of a study she is conducting. The study will examine what motivates a person to start a business after retirement and what factors encourage or inhibit success in these endeavors. Participation involves a brief interview (1-2 hours). Information gathered from interviews will be confidential. If you are a “baby boomer” and have started a business for the first time, or know someone who has, please contact Dr. Frazier at 269.387.3719 or frazier@wmich.edu. |
