Still a little time…
This year only, members who wish to make changes to their group life insurance have until July 21, rather than the June 30 open enrollment deadline that applies to health and dental plans. Changes will be effective July 1.

Members may wish to change the amount of their benefit from the “old” plan levels to updated levels or to change the beneficiary on a policy. For more information, see “Ask Joe” on page 10.

One-stop shopping…
Delta Dental of Michigan, known primarily for its dental plans, now offers vision care to MRA members. Just as Delta Dental is the most widely accepted coverage in Michigan, Delta Vision has over 700 providers at nearly 300 locations in Michigan.

Shipping savings climb…
As of the end of April, MRA members participating in the Shipping Savings program have saved $19,394 on a total of 13,731 packages. That’s an average savings of 19.7 percent per box.
