Starting this month, the ABA and DDA numbers (bank routing and deposit account numbers associated with transactions) listed on merchant statements will be truncated for greater security.

Referral Update...
By mid-February, 33 members had received a check for $30 for their referrals to Michigan Retailers Association. Any member who refers a business will receive a $30 check from MRA if the referred business joins MRA. E-mail the name and contact information of each business to sales@retailers.com or call your local marketing representative with the information.

BCBSM Rate Renewals...
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has mailed its Rate Renewal Certification to members who participate in health insurance. MRA Customer Service urges members to complete and submit the form to BCBSM. Those who don’t submit the form to BCBSM—or who submit an incomplete form—face a steep rate surcharge beginning July 1.
