Apply online for single BCBS plans

Michigan Retailers Association has established an online enrollment system for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan individual health care coverage.

A link to this system can be found on MRA's website, retailers.com. Under Member Services, click on "Insurance Programs" and look under Health Insurance for a link to "Individual health plan enrollment." Or go directly to http://www.retailers.com/memberservices/insuranceprog.html. The link became operational in late March.

Blue Cross now offers, through MRA, several options for individuals who do not have the option for employer-sponsored health insurance. Individual coverage options have expanded to offer an Individual Health Savings Account (HSA) and an Individual Dental option.
