Dental Open Enrollment: hurry…
Open enrollment for Delta Dental is underway from now until the end of January. During open enrollment, MRA dental insurance participants can add employees and dependents, to become effective immediately.

Open enrollment is also the time for members who do not currently participate in MRA’s dental program to join. The next open enrollment period for the Delta Dental plan is in June.

Shipping: over $100,000 saved …
Members saved $101,004 by using MRA’s Shipping Savings program since its inception in mid-2005 through October 2006. To date, partipicating members used the program on 52,350 inbound and outbound shipments.

Member savings climbed 11 percent just between September and October.

Most members use the program on inbound shipments, savings as much as 25 percent off published prices for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery, and up to 55 percent off prices for numerous less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers.

Natural gas savings update …
The Natural Gas Savings program continues to grow (see page 1). However, members should be aware that the program is only available to businesses that currently receive gas from either MichCon or Consumers Energy.

VESI obtains the gas and sells it through MichCon or Consumers Energy.
