Hallan elected Delta’s chair

James P. Hallan, MRA president and chief operating officer, was elected on May 30 to a one-year term as chair of the Delta Dental of Michigan Board of Directors. He was first elected to the Delta Dental of Michigan Board of Directors in 1996 and has served as its secretary, treasurer and vice-chair.

Hallan also serves as treasurer for the Delta Dental of Ohio Board of Directors and for the Board of Trustees of Delta Dental Foundation, the corporation’s philanthropic arm.

Delta Dental of Michigan and its affiliates in Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee make up one of the largest dental plan administrators in the nation. In 2006 the enterprise paid more than $1.7 billion for dental care for more than 6.2 million enrollees.
