On June 25, the Lottery will launch its third Millionaire Raffle game. Tickets will be $20 each, as they have been in the previous two games, and a total of 600,000 tickets will be available. There will be six prizes of $1 million each, 12 prizes of $100,000 each and 2,000 prizes of $500 each. Retailers will earn $1.20 on each Raffle ticket they sell. Later this summer or early fall, look for a second Super Raffle game. The first one carried a $50 price tagthe most expensive Lottery ticket offered in the country to dateand it sold out in an amazing two and a half days, paying retailers a commission of $3 on each ticket sold. In addition, the $500 prizes for the raffle-style games can be cashed in-store, providing another commission opportunity. Well notify all as soon as we finalize the date for this ticket launch. Farewell It has been a pleasure to be associated with the Lotterys exceptional retailers. Ive often used this column to commend your efforts, without which the Lottery would not be the success that it is. I have full confidence that this great partnership will continue to benefit all parties and I thank you for all youve done during my tenure. New instants All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund, which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.
