Avoid BCBS Surcharge...
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has mailed its Rate Renewal Certification to members who participate in health insurance. MRA Customer Service urges members to complete and submit the form to BCBSM.

Those who don’t submit the form to BCBSM—or who submit an incomplete form—face a steep rate surcharge beginning July 1. Call Customer Service at 800.366.3699 with questions.

More can save on natural gas…
Owners and employees of MRA member businesses are now eligible to receive discounted rates on natural gas at their homes through MRA’s program. In addition, members whose gas utility is SEMCO ENERGY can now participate in the gas savings program as well as those covered by Consumers Energy or DTE Energy/MichCon. Ask for a Retailers Mutual quote…
Retailers Mutual now provides workers’ comp coverage in 251 class codes. That’s up from 42 in December 2005, prior to the conversion from Retailers Fund.
