Community Party Packs and partner party packs include multiple copies of posters, infographics, and extra punch cards to be shared with businesses in your community. 

The FREE partner party packs will include 5 infographics and posters, and 75 punch cards, along with a few other goodies to share.

The Sponsoring Community Party Packs are tiered by level:

• Level 1 ($250): 25 infographics and posters, 1,000 cobranded punch cards with YOUR logo alongside MRA’s, and balloons and more merch items
• Level 2 ($150): 15 infographics and posters, 500 cobranded punch cards, and balloons and other items
• Level 3 ($100): 10 infographics and posters, 250 cobranded punch cards, and balloons and other items

These items can be shared with any business in your community – traditional retailers, restaurants, medical/chiropractic/vision/dental offices, service-based businesses…. Any business in your community that shoppers should support to “Keep Your Money in Michigan!”

MRA membership is not required to participate in Buy Nearby Weekend, but members do receive extra items in their packs.

Sponsoring Buy Nearby Weekend supports the future of Michigan's retail industry. Buy Nearby Weekend raises consumer awareness of the importance of shopping locally, and the impact of keeping your money in Michigan. 

Buy Nearby Weekend is celebrated by businesses and consumers across Michigan, gaining media coverage from outlets in all corners of the state. 

Anyone can donate to support the Buy Nearby program at any time on our website. For Buy Nearby Weekend, we welcome sponsorships from MRA member businesses, non-member businesses, associations, community partners, and individuals. Many sponsorship opportunities are ideal for local Chambers of Commerce, Downtown Development Authorities, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and B2B organizations.

Fill out the form above with your information, and someone from MRA will reach out to confirm your sponsorship selection. Following confirmation, we will send you an invoice that can be paid via check or credit card.
