What is the Michigan Retail Index?
Established in 1994, the Michigan Retail Index is a monthly survey conducted by MRA in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. It tracks sales, inventory, pricing, promotional activities, and hiring trends among Michigan retailers and provides valuable insight into the state's retail climate. Members are asked to report trends from the current (most recently completed) month and their three-month outlook.
