Capitol Day is an easy way to get engaged with legislative advocacy. Your story matters, and your voice should be heard. MRA fiercely advocates on behalf of the retail industry in Michigan on the issues that matter most, and this is YOUR opportunity to get involved! You’ll have direct access to the decision-makers who are shaping the future of retail in Michigan. Take this chance to highlight the challenges retailers face, discuss ways to overcome them, and build valuable connections that will help strengthen Michigan’s retail industry.
Agenda Highlights:
Each attendee will have a custom meeting schedule, catered to their specific industry and location. We aim to keep meetings with lawmakers as relevant and impactful as possible by matching you with lawmakers who have the most influence in your area.
- Network with fellow MRA members and pick up your packet beginning at 11:00 AM
- Meet with lawmakers and committee leaders in scheduled meetings between 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM
- Connect with MRA’s team and learn about the latest member perks
- Meet Drew Beardslee, MRA’s new VP of Government Affairs!
- Enjoy an evening reception with food and cocktails from 4:30 – 6:30 PM
