What is asked of MRA's Retail Ambassadors?

We aim to keep this program accessible for any retail business to join. 

By participating in the Retail Ambassador Program, you agree to:

  • Submit the Retail Index survey every month with your latest sales, inventory, pricing, promotions, and hiring trends and outlook
  • Respond to issue-specific member surveys
  • Participate* in Capitol Day on April 22, 2026
  • Celebrate & promote Buy Nearby Weekend on October 2-4, 2026
  • Refer other business owners for membership or services, & invite them to events
  • Provide feedback on new services and programs

*Can't join us for the event in Lansing? That's okay - let us know what's impacting your business in advance so we can share your testimony with policymakers on Capitol Day.
